Endless red carpet events and weekend beach getaways may be aplenty, but Nigeria is the most stressful country in the world to live in, as reported by Bloomberg. The stress rankings are based on seven variables – murder rates, purchasing power parity, income inequality, corruption, unemployment, air pollution and life expectancy.
As this map shows, Nigeria is the most stressful (red) of the 74 nations surveyed, with South Africa coming a close second. With Asian and South American countries dominating the top 20, the third African country to come in at 21 is Tunisia.
The nine least stressful nations are all found in Europe, with Norway the least streesful.
