Cortney Ann Sanford’s car crashed on Thursday morning

A woman has been declared dead just a few seconds after posting selfies and something about Pharrell’s ‘Happy Song’ before she crashed into a truck and died. She sustained serious head injuries in the fatal accident that claimed her life.

32 year old Courtney Ann Sanford got into the fatal wreck early on Thursday morning. Her car crossed the road’s middle point and slammed into the truck, before bursting into flames. The truck also ran into a tree, but its 73-year-old driver was unharmed.

Investigators have found out that Sanford wrote on her Facebook status from her cell phone about “Happy” by Pharrell Williams just a minute before they received a 911 call. Sadly Sanford was inspired by Pharrell’s infectious song so much that it led to her demise.

Her post read:

“The happy song makes me HAPPY”.

“The Facebook text happened at 8:33 a.m. We got the call on the wreck at 8:34 a.m. In a matter of seconds, a life was over just so she could notify some friends that she was happy.” Lt. Chris Weisner of the High Point Police department told the news station.

This is really sad but do you think Sanford should be blamed for her death?
