It is no secret that the US First Lady Michelle Obama is a big fan of Duro Olowu – she has stepped out rocking Duro Olowu pieces on several state and family outings – even appearing in a Duro piece on the Oprah Winfrey show – so it was no surprise to see her rocking yet another Duro Olowu piece – a black and orange jacket from the designers Autumn 2011 collection – on her arrival at Pretoria, South Africa with daughters Sasha and Malia yesterday evening on the first leg of her goodwill tour of sub-Saharan Africa.
Michelle Obama continued her tour of South Africa today, meeting with Nelson Mandela and his wife, Graca Machel. She wore a coral silk skirt suit by Narciso Rodriguez and blue flats by Nava Zahavi. She spent the afternoon playing with children Emthonjeni Community Center.
