As part of the Ubuntu International Project, Jose Heno showcased her new A/W 2012 collection ‘Resonance’ at Vauxhall Fashion Scout yesterday. Taking a fresh approach to contemporary fashion, Jose’s new collection was made completely of eco-friendly fabrics. Materials consisted of organic barkcloth, cotton and other biogradable substances. There was no sight of any metal snaps, plastic fasteners or buttons.

As the label is very passionate about environmental issues affected by fashion, Jose Hendo also uses organic, untreated, raw and recycled materials all in aid of ethical trading and fair working conditions. This also translated into the colour scheme of the entire collection as hues of earthy tones paraded down the catwalk, rusty oranges, mustard’s and browns.
