Nigerian producer and C.E.O of  Mavin records Micheal “Don Jazzy” Collins Enebeli, shared today on his Instagram page a 15-second video of Grammy Award winner, Super producer  Teddy Riley, expressing his admiration for him and his desire to colaborate with him soonest.  He also captioned the video with the following exhilarated declarations:

‘So my guy @Gproduction was at a Chris Brown concert with one of the greatest writer/producer of all time @teddyriley1. Turns out that he has heard my work and wants to work with me. This is the genius that wrote and produced ‘Remember the time’ for KingMichael Jackson. Na #Godwin o #SMD #Mavin cc @Thisiswurld’….

For those who didn’t know, Teddy Riley is the  singer-songwriter, musician, keyboardist and record producer who created the New Jack Swing genre that ruled the late 80s and 90s.  He wrote and produced for the late king of Pop, Michael Jackson and was the brain-child behind most of the productions of  music icons: Keith Sweat, Heavy D, Usher, Jane Child, Bobby Brown, among others. Riley is known to be one of the major influences in the formation of R&B, Hip-Hop, Soul and Pop genres since the 1980s,. And his monetary worth is touted to be over 80million dollars all gained in royalties from his works.

Since the Teddy Riley shout out video went live, the social media has been agog with the news.

If surely this is the case, then we must say that greater times are really up ahead for the “Don Dorobucci” and the Mavin crew as well.

Since their all-stars-featured Dorrobucci single hit tore up the airwaves, all eyes have been on the new sign ons, Reekado Banks, Korede Bello and Dija.

Mavin first lady Tiwa Savage has been churning hits and her latest: “My Darlin”  as well as her featured Dr Sid’s new single all have been taking the airwaves by storm.
