Name: Joanne May Lyn Chew

FAB thing about your name: “Chew” is a common Chinese name and means “autumn”.  It reminds me of my strong Chinese/Malaysian roots even though I was brought up in Bermuda and Canada.

My fiancé is half Jamaican/half Nigerian so I will soon have a FAB African name.”

FAB thing about your country of origin: Malaysia is a multi-ethnic and multicultural society.  The cities have a great hustle and bustle about it and the beaches are beautiful and breathtaking.  The people are very laid back, warm and friendly and love their food!  Being back there and surrounded by family makes me happy.

Occupation:I’m a Programme Office Manager and Project Manager working for the government.  On the side I freelance for high profile fashion and creative events.
