The Golden Globes Awards held Sunday evening ,January 13, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills-California, with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as hosts of the night.

Nearly all the who’s who in the film industry graced the 70th Annual fiesta of the event which preludes the Oscars.

The night threw up few surprises, as Ben Affleck roared back from an Oscar snub earlier in the week to accept Globe wins for director and Motion Picture – Drama.

“Amour” won the Golden Globe for best foreign language film, taking the likes “Rust and Bone,” “The Intouchables,” “A Royal Affair” and “Kon-Tiki ” to the cleaners.

Daniel Day-Lewis, (Lincoln)  took home Best Actor (Drama) and Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty) won Best Actress (Drama).
