Wish I could say the following images are mine, but sadly they are not. Having a StumbleUpon minute the other day, I had a browse through numerous websites on travel, art, fashion, culture, literature, etc. and one such was Buzzfeed where I stumbled upon an entry titled “100 Incredible Views Out of Airplane Windows”. The list topped by an aerial view of tops of London’s Canary Wharf high rises protruding through the clouds also features a range of African landscapes – with Lagos in the top ten.

 

 

I reckon there could have been a few more African landscapes captured through airplane windows, so I took my research on to good old Flickr. For any African landmarks and landscapes missing, I am well up for the job of travelling around the continent to capture them one by one.
