Highlights ……..of The A to Z of weddings (42 weeks of FAB guide to planning your A to Z of wedding)…..
parents – whatever the level of involvement the parents have in your wedding, this is a very important day for them. Make them feel special!
list – look at both you & your partners wedding priorities, in order of importance list them down. Have a checklist for you to keep track of all the points in your wedding planning. I can’t stress this enough, you need it!
linen -white is not the only colour for your wedding reception linen. I adore the idea of using African fabric as table linen for a very modern and avant garde weddings. With the selection of fabrics available, be inspired!
When choosing a colour for your wedding, keep in mind the colours already at your chosen venue, work around it. The reception table is one place where all the colour palette come together.
reception – your venue should be no more than 15-30 minutes from your ceremony venue. The right size to accommodate your guest, fit in with you budget and style. Beach, castle, hotel, garden, private home, woodland, park etc. It’s essential you get the right fit for you. Reception (food, drinks, rentals and venue): 35% – 40% of your wedding budget goes on the reception. Do think carefully!
relax – take time out during your wedding day. Take off your dress relax, refresh, regroup, rejoin and enjoy the rest of your wedding!
rsvp – repondez s’il vous plait means please respond. Make it easy for your guest to respond to your invitation.
