Jada Pinkett Smith is married to Will Smith (Fresh Prince of Bell-Air actor/comedian) and a mother of two young artists: Willow and Jayden Smith. In a friendly chat with Arsenio Hall about her early childhood, Jada disclosed the kind of relationship she shared with the late rapper, Tupac who was murdered in 1996.
Arsenio extolled the late rapper for being the first person to have believed in Jada as a star apart from her mother and she responded,
“Pac was one of the first male figures that i had in my life that saw the beauty and my talent and intelligence separated from sex” She clarified.
Jada explained further that Tupac stood in for her like a father figure as most fathers will do for their daughters,
“That’s something that a young girl gets from her father, I didn’t have that. Pac was the first one that it wasn’t about sex it was about, ‘You, you’re a beautiful woman, you’re talented, you’re strong, I respect you and you’re my girl. You’re going to sit right here, I’m going to protect you.”
