Nobel-winning author Wole Soyinka was on CNN on Tuesday during a global affairs interview to talk about the abduction of over 200 schoolgirls in Nigeria. He was on air with Christiane Amanpour as she grilled him over his opinions and views.
Wole Soyinka raised very solid points and states about the Nigerian government, “this is a government which is not only in denial mentally, but in denial about certain obvious steps to take.”
According to Wole Soyinka, “It’s one of those rather child-like situations that if you shut your eyes, if you don’t exhibit the tactile evidence of the missing humanity here, that somehow the problem will go away.”
