Palmer//Harding is a mens’ and womens’ directional shirts label formed by Levi Palmer and Matthew Harding.
Palmer//Harding presentation showcased a collection that had been largely inspired by paper. It was an intriguing idea that translated well. They masterfully manipulated textiles to achieve a variety of fascinating textures, which worked well within garments that also challenged preconceived notions of a garment’s form and fit. There was a lightness to the majority of the pieces; something clean and easy that rendered a certain fragility. It was very obviously a conceptual collection, yet everything was entirely wearable and really rather desirable.
Palmer//Harding is focused on bringing directional design to a traditionally neglected garment in a wardrobe, the shirt. Through this concept, Palmer//Harding create a garment that encompasses the combined aesthetic, skills and international experience of the design duo. Since launching the label in September 2011, Palmer//Harding have seen their collections grace the pages of international publications, including features in American and British Vogue. Their collection is stocked internationally in prestigious stores including Ikram, Dover Street Market, The Room and Louis Boston.
