‘Don’t get naked unless you are protected’ – #GetNaked campaign 2014
Following the announcement of Hiv/Aids awareness and prevention photo campaign: #GetNaked2014, founder of the photo campaign SheiFunmi Nomia-Yusuf, has released the first photos of the movement. The photos were taken by celebrity photographer, Sunmisola Olorunnisola, who is also the official photographer for the project.
With this year’s edition of the campaign setting off with a closed shoot, SheiFunmi has enlisted famous faces, influentials in business, media and technology field to take part in the photo campaign with the aim to raise more awareness about this fast-spreading disease.
“This project applies to everybody because we are not focusing on HIV/Aids awareness alone. One main aim of #GetNaked is to tell it all, breaking down the façade. Nothing is black and white, there are always different shades. Baring it all as youths, talking about sensitive issues in our society that affect our lives and us in general” SheiFunmi dished about the project.
The #GetNaked Campaign is a global awareness campaign which will take place “in different cities, in different countries” with the first leg of the global tour kicking off in Nigeria.
Featured in the campaign preview photos are rapper Slim T, radio personality Kore Brown, comedian Owen Gee, 2013 Elite Model Look Winner Nneoma Anosike and Writer Kecy Anosike.
