Serena Williams was seen with a rather large bald spot in the parting of her hair, as she left a late night dinner in Hollywood with her socialite pal Brittny Gastineau last week.
She is known to often change her hair with the help of hair extensions but it but it appears that perhaps Serena Williams’ weaves are taking a toll on the tennis player’s natural locks.
She seems to be suffering from traction alopecia’ which is associated with hair braiding, weaving, and the wearing of hair extensions.
Celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears are all said to have suffered hair loss as a result of their extensions.

Prolonged traction can cause permanent loss of hair in the affected areas, but if caught early, this type of hair loss is reversible.
She paired her tightly curled extensions with a black leather motorcycle jacket and some gold Christian Louboutin shoes.
