Daisy Rebecca Lowe, established English fashion model and daughter of Gavin Rossdale and Pearl Lowe has once again made the headlines as she models her mothers’ Christmas fashion range for Peacocks.
Daisy is no stranger to the spotlight and from the tender age of two years old her modeling career began and eventually she became signed at the age of 15 to the London agency, Select models after being approached in Camden Town. Progressing throughout the years, 2006 saw Daisy gracing the pages of Italian Vogue, shot by New York photographer Steven Klein. The young model has also enjoyed success with editorials in the likes of Tatler, Elle, GQ, Vogue, Paradis, Marie Claire, Teen Vogue, Grazia, In Style, Nylon and The Sunday Times Style Magazine but to name a small selection.
No wonder then that Daisy was the perfect muse for Pearl Lowe to use in her new day-to-evening dresses collection for Peacocks. The collection took inspiration from Hollywood legends such as Deborah Kerr and Debbie Reynolds and has fast become labeled as ‘bringing vintage back to vogue.’
22 year old Daisy looks stunning on the new collections advertisements as she models designs consisting of delicate embellishments, drapery and dainty shoulder corsages along with the customary trademark lace that Pearl favours. Fashion followers may remember controversy last year when Daisy wore a red lace design for a London event without a slip, intentionally revealing her underwear – Peal has recreated the design but this time incorporated a slip for the more bashful customer than her confident daughter.
Pearl told a British newspaper, “Christmas wouldn’t be the same without all the family watching old films together, and I’m equally mesmerized when I watch Deborah Kerr’s wonderful style today as I was when I watched her for the first time.”
The range will be launched in selected Peacocks’ stores and also online from the 10th November.
