Following an order by Justice Yetunde Idowu of the Ikeja High Court to National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA) to produce Babatunde Omidina also known as Baba Suwe on Wednesday 26 October, the Agency today produced the comedian, suspected of drug trafficking to the court premises.

 

 

The order was then, following an ex-parte motion filed by the actor’s counsel, Mr Bamidele Aturu.

 

After the hearing, Justice Idowu granted bail to the comedian in the sum of 500,000 naira but insisted it will take effect from the 4th of November 2011.

 

Bamidele Aturu ordered the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency to release the ace comedian on November 4 if no drugs are found in his body.

 

Just to recap, the 53yr old comic actor was arrested at ‘Murtala Mohammed International Airport’, Lagos on October 12, while boarding an Air France flight to Paris.
