On Sunday night Mo’Hits group hit up London’s HMV Apollo in Hammersmith and I can tell you now it was absolutely CRAZY!
The show started off well, Eddie Kadi was added to the build up, causing much laughter with his crazy stories about his experiences of African Culture.
UK artist Dot Star surprised fans with a brief performance of his track “It’s a Stick Up”, and a dance routine with Eddie!
Tiwa Savage came on first performing “Kele Kele”, and did her part to represent her homeland Nigeria, as well as London, where spent most of her life growing up. The audience most certainly enjoyed her break down dance moves, where she showed us how she gets down! She then left it to the boys…
Wande Coal’s played many classics including “Kiss Your Hand”..”Bumper to Bumper”, “You Bad” “Ten Ten” and of course “Who Born The Maga”
KAS made his appearance with “Fi Mi Le” driving the ladies completely nuts!
Dr.Sid of course of was up on stage doing his thing, “Something About You”, “Over The Moon” with K-Switch, was also fun to watch.
D’banj, of course was the entertainer, he came with all his classics, and our favourites, “Igwe” “Suddenly” “Kiss Your Hand”, even his most recent track “Oliver Twist”.
Even the classic track “Why Me”, which I can still remember singing in secondary school over 5 years ago, It had the crowd going mental, and that’s to say the least!
The highlight of the night, was when Kanye West made his guest appearance, straight off the plane from Los Angeles, where he performed live at the Video Music Awards, just hours earlier. Kanye performed ‘All Of The Lights’ with Don Jazzy & Co. He made it absolutely clear, that D’banj is signed to Kanye’s G.O.O.D music label. He even blessed D’banj by removing the chain off of his neck, and placing in onto his (a beautiful moment, might I add!)
They ended it with “Pop Champagne”, with the action of literally popping champagne, all over their female fans (not that they complained, of course).
The Mo’Hits group took London by storm last night; they all promised that they will be here next year! So for those of you who where unfortunate enough to have missed it, cheer up!
