French fashion label Madoki, created by Christelle Madoki in 2012, has unveiled a colourful, urban and chic new collection infused with African prints on edgy pieces. The brand teams urban rock styles with ethic African prints.
According to the brand all items are hand produced in France. Each piece is made at the moment when a heart for a wax print echoes the idea of cutting the current time and the pieces largely inspired by the style of the 60s; for an elegant, feminine and sparkling result. With the perpetual renewal of African fabrics on the market, each item in the shop is a very limited number of copies.
The new ‘Playground’ collection consists of fun playful short sets, playsuits and trench coats. The lookbook, photographed by Stephane Pianacci, is taken on a playground. We love the collection. The brand offers original designs, trends, at the crossroads of casual styles rock, and ethnic references made by the wax, which is then blended with other modern materials in the air!
According to the creative director, fashion label Madoki is designed for free and dynamic woman who reinvents style, regardless of the codes imposed by culture, social class, or standard magazines. She wants fresh, fun and rock and we think she has gotten that with this collection.
