Wow! Talk about expressing one’s feelings.

Karl Lagerfeld, German fashion designer, Head designer and creative director for Chanel, obviously has no problems when it comes to giving his frank opinion about anything or anyone. Apparently, his calling Adele ‘Too fat’ is only a tip of the iceberg.

The 78 year old was a guest editor on Metro Paris, and when asked about this thoughts on American singer and songwriter Elizabeth Grant (Lana del Rey), he responded with:

“I prefer Adele and Florence Welch,” he said. “But as a modern singer she is not bad. The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice. Lana del Rey is not bad at all. She looks very much like a modern-time singer. In her photos she is beautiful. Is she a construct with all her implants? She’s not alone with implants.”

And that’s not all, when asked about M.I.A’s performance at the Super Bowl, specifically, when she flipped her middle finger at the cameras, here’s what he had to say:

“Nowadays people give the middle finger quite quickly—it’s not the best behavior. Everybody does that, what’s new about that? It’s just become a bad habit. People in magazines are 50 percent bimbo and 50percent pregnant women.”

While I think Lagerfeld’s comments aren’t all that harsh, I gotta say, the guy could do with some sensitivity training.
