Flower Girl is the happy, new romantic comedy by Michelle Bello you should be excited about. The movie which is dated to be released on February 14th, 2013, stars the industry’s best and brightest, bubbly acts: Eku Edewor (Studio 53), Damilola Adegbite (Tinsel), Chris Attoh (Tinsel), Patrick Doyle, Teni Aofiyebi, Tosan Edremoda-Ugbeye, Bikiya Graham Douglas, Chuks Chukwujekwu (debuting his role as lead) and others.

Flower girl revolves round the life of Kemi, an introverted florist who is desperate to tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend, Umar. Unfortunately for lover-girl, Umar suddenly jilts her, leaving a devastated Kemi to figure out how to pick up the pieces. She does in no time and initiates a plan. Acutely desperate, she joins forces with a most unlikely ally, Tunde Kulani, a famous playboy and Nollywood star. This vibrant presentation unravels a whole new perception to love in Nigeria.

The movie is a message to young women who are desperate enough to get married that the bliss of that perfect one-day ceremony blinds them from the real commitment and challenges of marriage and preparing for it. The piece is about love lost and won in the city of Lagos.

It is shot entirely on location and will highlight thrilling parts of the city known and unknown to many of its residents, emphasizing electrifying night life, churches, business hubs and gorgeous lagoon views all in dazzling high resolution capture to depict the picture of modern-day Lagos.

Flower girl is a creative product of producer/Director Michelle Bello whose last film, Small boy clinched two African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
