No London Fashion Week reportage would be complete without a little bit of street style, right? Day 4 of London Fashion Week at the Somerset House brought its fair share of street stylistas who brought out the sun with their ever colourful get-ups. Not only did we get to people-watch at one of the most fun people-watching venues but we also met some FABulous folk with, all with their unique and quirky styles.
Without further ado, let’s have a look at the stylish people of London Fashion Week.
I pretty much look at menswear. I take pictures for a mens fashion blog called Dapprly and also Girl in Menswear who I think is a fantastic blogger.
I get inspiration from all over the place. Bowties are my thing at the moment, but that can change pretty quickly.
Classic with a twist. I wear lots of bling, cute coats; just keep it simple, I guess. I love Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Rihanna.
I really like fashion and I came here with my friend who is a blogger. I just look around at other people and the way they are dressed and websites and models and mix it up a bit.
Maria and Gabriela – Sweet Paprika
My style inspiration is Audrey Hepburn but now we are wearing my label Sweet Paprika inspired by Moldavian traditions. We are from Romania and it is our tradition to wear this hat which is over 2000 years old. I am based in Romania and I am here for London Fashion Week.
I am here because I love fashion. When it comes to style, my mum is my biggest style inspiration.
We are all wearing my designs; they are my models, Rafael and Lindsay. I am inspired by armoury and sculptures. My designs were worn by Lady Gaga recently.
I’d like to have colour, I like prints. I like things that are comfortable but at the same time has a little edge to them and are sassy.
I am designer and I come to London Fashion Week to be inspired. I love seeing what everyone is wearing, the designer collections are also fabulous so far.
I write for Yoho Magazine. I am here to see fashion.
I am a blogger and illustrator and I am working for Spindle Magazine as a photographer backstage at the shows at Freemasons Hall.
My main style icon would be Vivivenne Westwood – her politics as well as fashion. I like things that make an actual statement with current affairs as well as fashion. I have never fit into anything mainstream and I usually get quite a lot of looks. At Fashion Week I blend in a little bit. I like things that do not fit into consumers’ tastes, but look into the future and take risks and do their own thing. i really think designers should really be adventurous.
I blog about men’s fashion on I am inspired by the season’s strong monochrome patterns. I like mixing and matching patterns like monochrome and tartan.
Marcia Campbell – London Tall Girl
I have come to see all the new designers especially at Fashion Scout with the up and coming designers as well as do some street style.
Audrey Hepburn mixed in with modern trends inspires my style.
I am a stylist so I come every now and again. For this look, I took a little bit from Kanye West from the video with Kim, but I also like the complexity of the checks. I wanted to go a little bit hippie eccentric.
I work in the fashion industry as a stylist and I hope to launch my clothing line soon. I like limited edition, so if I seem something quirky no one else is going to have I will try to have it. I don’t have an inspiration ’cause if I do, I feel like I am just following someone else. I’d rather just be myself.by
