Supermodel Kate Moss has landed another campaign – fabulous Alexander McQueen for Spring/Summer 2014. With a complete different look Kate shines for the legendary photographer Steven Klein.
Barefaced and clad in Sarah Burton’s black leather and gold warrior wares with a lurid yellow-orange crop hair, the newly 40year old Kate Moss is joined by an identically dressed mini-me. The campaign is a bit disturbing with haunted and hollow looks from Kate Moss but nothing less can be expected from the British label.
According to creative director Sarah Burton, the campaign was inspired by 1960 Brit flick “Peeping Tom” which sees a serial killer murder women and then record their dying expressions on camera. The campaign shots are quite disturbing.
To go along with the images, the fashion house released a dark, surreal video to complete the campaign. In it an unknown voyeur follows Moss through a darkened street, while holding a replica doll version of the model, before she enters a desolate building and begins to take off her clothes. As expected from Alexander McQueen, it is every bit as otherworldly and sinister as you might imagine.
