British-Nigerian model Betty Adewole has been unveiled as one of the models for high fashion brand, Karen Millen’s Spring/Summer 2014 Ad campaigns.
With a name and face that you won’t forget, London-born Betty Adewole is set to be one of the hottest models of 2014. She was scouted at 15 in her hometown of London, whilst shopping with her mum on Tottenham Court Road. After being signed by IMG last year, Adewole subsequently cut her waist-length hair into a boyish crop.
Since her debut on the catwalks during the spring summer ’11 season, Adewole has become one of the industry’s most sought-after catwalk faces. She graced the cover of Wonderland magazine in November last year and starred in her first British Vogue editorial in their February 2014 issue.
Having grown up in Hackney, Adewole said her favourite places are Covent Garden and Brick Lane, because of the’ variety of cultures to explore in such a small part of London’. Her favourite piece from the campaign was the silk bomber that she wore with our cutwork khaki pencil skirt
Also featured in the campaign is Chinese model Tian Yi.
