Good-looking hostess of popular television show Fashion 101, Sandra Ankobiah, is set to make a grand appearance at the maiden edition of the Glitz Africa Fashion Week.
Set for the Accra International Conference Centre from August 17 to 19, the Fashion Week is expected to bring together an impressive list of local and international fashion enthusiasts.
Sandra, a past beauty queen, will model for some of the well known designers expected to grace the three-day event.
“I accepted to be part of this because I believe in the vision of the organizers. I am also excited that so many designers from all over Africa are coming to Ghana to participate and showcase their talent,” she says.
In what is expected to be an excellent show by all standards, GAFW she believes, will blossom into something big in the coming years.
“I can guarantee Glitz Africa Fashion Week will blossom into something big hence the reason why I am excited to be part of the maiden edition”.
During the Fashion Week, Sandra and her Fashion 101 team will also interview designers and celebrities for Season 2 of the popular show, which is set to hit screens pretty soon.
Season Two of Fashion 101 promises to be entertaining, engaging and revealing. Recording sessions are currently being held, and won’t take long for the show to return.
An incredible talent with appreciable level of following that is almost becoming religious; Sandra became First Runner-Up in the 2002 edition of the Miss Ghana beauty pageant. She was also runner-up of the 2002 edition of Miss ECOWAS.
Sandra, who is on her way to becoming a fully-fledged Ghanaian Lawyer, holds a University of Buckingham, UK, LLB and LLM in International and Commercial Law degree.
She is currently learning her last ropes at the Ghana School of Law.
