There are hairdressers and then there are artists who work magic with your hair.  The first set work in salons while the second category revolutionise and change the industry that they work in.

Ugo & Buki Igbokwe the founders of Make Me Salon deserve all the love and accolades they get. Through their hard work, perseverance and true determination they’ve built up a successful business together. Husband and wife, hand in hand, dryer and tongs in arm.

Their new Salon & Beauty Store based at 44 Bode Thomas, Surelere is a Mecca for all those who long for a one stop shop for all your supplies as well as a breathtaking and totally luxurious pampering experience. And, to be really honest I haven’t seen another hairdressing salon this side of the world half as beautiful!

I could go on for ages about the finishing touches, the fully reclining wash basins, the VIP treatment area and of course, the VVIP room but hey, i’d rather you go down to the salon and experience it yourself.

The official launch took place this afternoon and was supported not only by loyal clients and representatives of several beauty companies including Expressions Hair and Keracare.  The First Lady of Lagos State officially opened the site and gave a very touching, personal endorsement.

Well, it’s no wonder he was our FAB Night Out Award Winner 2010!
