A new destination shopping festival aimed at bringing together a roster of established and emerging new clothing designers and retailers, and shoppers has been announced by leading internet go-to-source for fashion and lifestyle, FashionistaGH, in partnership with Accra’s premier concierge service, Bentsifi.
Dubbed the ‘FashionistaGH Shopping Festival’, it is slated to take place on Saturday July 7, 2012 at The Plaice, the new events hub at the Trade Fair Centre.
Focusing on the fashion sector this year, there will be a shell scheme set up for serious vending and other transactions, with an area cordoned off as the ‘Style Lounge’ for invitation-only fashion displays and exclusive trunk shows featuring designer and celebrity appearances, exciting outdoor entertainment and more, in an atmospheric environment expected to pull a massive crowd of shoppers.
A cocktail event, which will see a high profile invited guest list comprising entertainers, business executives, professionals, politicians and entrepreneurs mingling, will end the evening in a grand style.
