Summer may be coming to an end but that doesn’t meant the fun has to stop, if you’re looking for something exciting and enjoyable this August, look no further as Africa Unplugged is on its way, it is the largest African Music Festival in Europe, and will be home to many talented and amazing artists this month.
If you really want to get your azonto on, this event is for you, featuring the one and only Sarkodie (Mr Azonto himself), and other fantastic acts like, Femi Kuti, 2 face Idibia, Iyanya, Fally Ipupa, R2Bees, Mista Silva and many more. If you are unfamiliar with some of the artists or need a refresher, check out some of their work below.
The aim of the event is to integrate and showcase African culture within music from all over Africa, bringing them together under one roof for an explosive and highly memorable demonstration of our culture and is contribution to music worldwide. There will be 20 different African acts, 15 nations, 1 roof, 1 day on August the 27th Wembley Arena, do not miss out as this will be a night you surely won’t forget.
