In a beauty editorial in Glamour USA magazine’s May 2014 issue, Puerto Rican top fashion model Joan Smalls is featured showcasing this season’s runway beauty trends.
Photographed by Cedric Buchet for the “Red Alert” titled editorial, Joan Smalls shows off four different shades of red lipstick with tips and beauty lessons on how to get the best effect when wearing a particular lip colour. The red lipstick is a beauty staple and the magazine states that one can try a classic crimson, slightly orange, pinkier red or high-drama brick-red.
Personally we love the high-drama shade as it is such a strong colour and strong colours make everything look a bit edgier.
