Premiere automotive lifestyle magazine Simply Rides unveils it’s annual print issue featuring Harriette Cole, Chrisette Michele, Melanie Fiona, Anthony Anderson, Lalah Hatahaway and Afro-Soul songstress LIRA who graces the cover to discuss her role as South Africa’s Audi brand ambassador.
Multi-platinum South African singer and Audi Brand Ambassador, LIRA has been selected to grace the cover of the Simply Rides 2012 Mini-Magazine, which was released to coincide with the 2012 New York International Auto Show.
Simply Rides, an automotive and lifestyle brand geared toward multicultural women, recently interviewed multi-platinum South African singer LIRA during one of her promotional tours in the USA. In the interview, LIRA talked about her long career in the music industry, her (very tiny) first car and how she became a brand ambassador for Audi. The cover of the Simply Rides 2012 Mini-Magazine features a QR Code that, when scanned, will direct readers to watch LIRA’s video interview on SimplyRides.com
“LIRA is both a remarkable talent and a remarkable beauty,” said Simply Rides Editor-in-Chief, SékouWrites regarding the cover selection. “She also has a legitimate love affair with cars, which makes her a perfect fit for Simply Rides.”
Aside from LIRA, this year’s edition of the Simply Rides 2012 Mini-Magazine features QR Codes linked to video interviews with celebrities such as, Harriette Cole, Chrisette Michele, Melanie Fiona, Imani Uzuri, Anthony Anderson and Lalah Hathaway, among others. There is also a photo gallery from the Simply Rides MINI Cooper event, held to promote the new, two-seat MINI Coupe.
This year’s mini-magazine was first distributed at the Simply Rides 2012 NY Auto Show Mixer at the Yotel in New York on April 4. Throughout the rest of the year, the mini-magazine will be placed in gift bags at Simply Rides events and other events targeting the multicultural female market.by
