I so hope this story isn’t true, but sources in Nigeria are saying all is not well in the Mo’Hits camp between the kokomaster and Wande Coal as egos are starting to clash.
Allegedly Wande Coal is not happy about his new album being sidelined after the surprising success of his debut album ‘Mushin to Mo’Hits’ in 2009, which subsequently became even more successful than D’banj’s ‘Entertainer’ which was released just a few months later.
As Wande Coal practically became an overnight success he’s demands grew greater and has apparently been showing plenty of disrespect to D’banj – who practically runs the label alongside Don Jazzy.
Since the fued D’banj and Don Jazzy are said to have moved out of their Maryland, Lagos Duplex which they shared with Wande Coal, Dr Sid and D’Prince and the leaders of the crew have their eyes set state side where they are teaming up with Hip-Hop heavyweights Snoop Dogg and Kanye West.
As competition in the Naija music scene increases, Wande Coal is eager to release another album, but apparently doesn’t have the backing from his label.
