Being on the front covers of a magazine seems to be the new trend as the likes of Nicki Minaj, Naomi Campbell, Kim Kardashian and Rihanna have all covered the latest issues of magazines. Hollywood Actress Angelina Jolie is not left out as she recently landed two magazine covers- Variety Magazine and DuJour Magazine which she shares with co-star Jack O’Conell.
Speaking to DuJour magazine, Angelina Jolie shares her experience about working with her longtime partner and new husband Brad Pitt on movie scenes, giving up on acting, being a director and more. Speaking to the magazine about how she prefers Directing over acting, Jolie said “I’ve never been comfortable as an actor; I’ve never loved being in front of the camera, I didn’t ever think I could direct, but I hope I’m able to have a career at it because I’m much happier.” “I still can’t believe I got to make this movie. When it comes to being a director, it’s so new for me and I’m quite shy about it because I’m still learning. I’ll feel better when audiences start to see it. I think we’re on the right track, but I’m not breathing easy just yet.”
Angelina Jolie also spoke about working with her husband Brad Pitt. She said: “The tricky thing is directing myself and directing Brad. It’s hard, dramatic material, and we’re balancing.” “I think when it’s right, it feels the exact same [as before]. It’s a heavy film, and it’s not easy for us” “But even as you struggle through it, you’re in the trenches together and you don’t expect it to be easy. We’re challenging each other and that’s a really good thing.”
