Yup, Nigerian beauties are have emerged once again to battle it out for the title of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria; a pageant which would be taking place on the 5th of May ,2012 at the Best Western Homeville Hotel, Benin City, Edo State.

 

 

The MBGN was first held in 1983 although it was referred to as Miss Universe Nigeria until it was rebranded and renamed Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria in 1986. With over two decades in existence, the MBGN is the most recognised and consistent beauty pageant in Nigeria.

Every year, one winner was chosen to represent Nigeria in all International Pageants but in 2007 the show was revamped to produce five winners who go on to represent Nigeria in several international pageants around the world.

They are;

MBGN World who went for Miss World Pageant

MBGN Universe for Miss Universe

MBGN Tourism for Miss Tourism International.

Other winners include MBGN ECOWAS,and MBGN Ambassador.

This year’s top 32 contestants for the 25th edition of the Most beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) have made their way into camp where they will be prepped and groomed for the grand finale.

    Except for these two contestants Miss Rivers – Charles Granville Damiete, Miss Adamawa – Ofoma Chisokwue all the others look tacky, tired and foolish. Try to showcase what God gave to you your own hair…

    These contestants are actually very beautiful- the problem was that the photographer did a very poor job and their wave is rather messy- take Miss Benue for instance, that picture is her is awful but if you go to her Facebook account, you will see that she is really a beauty. Bayelsa is another strong contestant to watch out for-she is my favorite but Rivers, Adamawa and Kebbi are also good bets too.

    All the gals are unique in deir own way coz i believ its not all about the facial looks and shape…….there’re other things like eloquence, pouse, and ones iq…..bt 4me, miss plateau stands out as a peacock….
