Lagosians, make yourself at home at D’Attic, the capital’s coziest open mic show, organised by sensational female rapper Bukola Afolayan aka Bouqui, that will guarantee you a graceful Friday night. This new concept allows people to unleash their talent and artistic facet of them in tranquil as the event will carry fine company and opportunities for appreciation. Most importantly, it is a music affair for Christians by Christians.

 

“We discovered there are fewer opportunities for Christian artistes to express themselves and we want to
provide platforms such as this”, says Bouqui.

 

D’Attic’s catchphrase is the purest you can imagine – CLEAN CLEAN (2 x Creative Lyrical Earnest Altering and Norms), representing the event’s ethos.

 

(RIGHT) In explaining what CLEAN CLEAN is all about, Bouqui says that ‘participating artistes are expected to be Creative, have strong Lyrics, must be Earnest in their expression and be ready to Alter acceptable Norms. Ironically, you might be able to catch freestyle battles of discourse, all in a relaxed atmosphere.

“I am super excited about this”, Bouqui  added. “We are positive everyone who attends this event will enjoy it.” D’Attic which debuts this Friday, the 29th, is scheduled to be held every last Friday of the month at the Planet One, 1 Maryland Street, Ikeja, Lagos.
