Tamera Mowry-Housley Shows Off Her Natural Curls On “The Real”

Does this mean the days of weaves are over as almost every woman wants to wear her natural hair. The natural hair trend has been going on for a while now and it just might be sending the weaves out of the market in no time.

Back in the days, the Mowry twins were known for their curly natural hair in the sitcom Sister Sister but as they advanced and grew older, they turned to Weaves causing them to abandon their natural curly hair looks. But those days might just be over for both girls as they have yet again returned to their natural hair.

On Tuesday, Tamera Mowry-Housely flaunted her natural hair for the first time in a long while on “The Real” . During the show, Tamera revealed that she had to cut her hair and start afresh and her husband likes her on the natural hair all day.

 “I’m a little nervous, but growing up on TV on you guys saw my natural hair. I have naturally curly hair, but throughout the years I always straightened it, I blew-dry it, I put a hot comb to it. And I went through this really, really rough stage, rough patch of my hair that I had to do the big chop. Which is basically chopping all of your damaged hair off and starting anew. So, I was a little nervous, because not many people are used to seeing me like this. This is me, this is who I am truly.” “My husband loves my hair like this. He would rather me wear my hair curly all day every day, than to straighten it and that makes me feel great. My husband loves all of it.”
