Sudanese supermodel, Grace Bol stars in Kenzo’s Autumn/Winter’14 video series Grace to the Nth Power – a stylish story shot to explore the way art is reflected in real life – and we love her in it.
To launch the KENZO Fall 2014 collection, Carol and Humberto enlisted directors Partel Oliva and web/3D designers Kim Boutin and David Broner to create an interactive 3D and video experience called Grace To The Nth Power, a solo show inspired by Sudanese-American model Grace Bol.
Directed by Partel Oliva and 3D designers Kim Boutin and David Broner, the fashion films form part of the brand’s fall campaign, which is celebrated through an interactive 3D and video experience available to view online, featuring music by Fatima Al Qadiri.
The series – which tells a tale of Grace as an art thief - and accompanying 3D artworks will be displayed in a dedicated exhibition located in Paris, which will run for three days, from September 24th at Galerie 12Mail (Red Bull Space), 12 rue du Mail.
Kenzo states that “the KENZO Prefall 2014 collection is in many ways a foray into the uncanny. Things are not always what they seem. Life at its most ordinary is skewed, twisted, until it appears fraught with surprises…”
