Congratulations, Solange! Beyoncé’s little sister said ‘I do’ today to long-term boyfriend, video director Alan Ferguson earlier today in New Orleans. In a white-themed ceremony which saw 200 close friend and family in attendance, the couple got married on Sunday afternoon atMarigny Opera House, a 167-year-old converted cultural centre. The stylish couple arrived at the venue on white vintage bicycles, with Solange’s bike equipped with a basket filled with flowers.
Solange wore a cream jumpsuit with a cape and a very sexy yet classy plunging neck line by Stephane Rolland with of course a red lip, Alan wore a cream suit to match and of course Solange’s son Juelz was very stylish in his cream suit and matching sneakers.
For the ceremony, Solange wore a floor-length Humberto Leon for Kenzo gown with an attached cape. In the bridal photographs captured by Rog Walker, Solange is seen in the middle of an all-female tableau including sister Bey, mum Tina and other guests including singer Janelle Monae.
Solange also posed with the 51-year-old groom Ferguson looking dapper in Lanvin.
Also on the bridal party was Blue Ivy on flower girl duty channelling Aunty So-So with her fro, while Mummy and Daddy Beyoncé and Jay Z were equally stylish in a white fitted dress and a white suit respectively. Mother of the bride, Tina Knowles looked radiant in a long-sleeved white gown.
The festivities for Solange’s wedding weekend also included a rehearsal dinner at the New Orleans’ Felicity Street Methodist Church and a film-themed party a night earlier at Indywood Cinema where the couple screened a homemade film about how they met, before screening the 1975 romantic drama, “Mahogany,” the movie they watched on their first date.
