Following a surprise drop earlier this week, here comes the first visuals from Rihanna’s upcoming album – in the shape of a two-minute behind-the-scenes of the video shoot for her “FourFiveSeconds” collaboration with Kanye West and Paul McCartney. Shot in New York City in late December, the video directed by fashion photography team of Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin sees Rihanna and West rocking out “FourFiveSeconds” in front of a white screen while McCartney strums the track’s acoustic riff.
All three artists are rocking denim in the video. “Kanye came up with the idea of just doing some real street, denim, all-American-type look,” Rihanna says. “Denim never goes out of style. It’s classic, it’s iconic, just like the fucking Beatles.”
Rihanna still hasn’t named a date for when the video or her eighth studio album will be out, but looks like this video’s going to be well worth the wait.
Check it out.
