It is no longer news that world’s number 1 female tennis player is the cover girls for Vogue US April 2015 Shape Issue, and with her killer curves and toned body, we cannot think of anyone whose shape truly lives up to the issue title. It seems, we are not alone, as Williams has been gracing covers over and over again in various degrees of undress over the years. Who can forget her nude ESPN cover back in 2009 or her numerous swimsuit covers. In case, you forgot though, here is a quick reminder of Serena’s top magazine covers.


May 2008 – Ebony

On the May 2008 cover of Ebony, tennis ace brought sexy back in a metallic blue one piece, flashing a little bit of skin and a radiant smile.


October 2009 – ESPN

Just when we thought we’d seen Serena as real as she could get — thanks to that U.S. Open semifinal — she upped the ante by appearing naked on one of six covers of ESPN The Magazine‘s “Body Issue” in October 2009.


December 2009 – Glamour

Only two months after her nude cover for ESPN, Serena dressed up for her cover in a limited edition set of five to celebrate Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year 2009 issue and she looked the ultimate fun, flirty party girls in a little black dress.



August 2010 – Hamptons Magazine

Williams scored a sizzling cover for the Hamptons Magazine in a black and white shot showing her on the beach in a white swimsuit, ebony limbs taking centre stage.


July 2013 – Sunday Style Australia

Big hair, big smile, Serena looked fresh, fit and fabulous in sportswear on the 21 July cover of Australia’s Sunday Style.


July 2013 – Essence

Serena Williams flaunts her fabulous body in a blue ombre Carmen Marc Valvo one-piece on the cover of the July issue of Essence Magazine. Not only did she grace the cover, but she also donned the guest editor hat for this issue.


May 2014 – Fitness

On the cover of Fitness magazine in a red cut-out swimsuit, Williams showed us she could do fierce on and off the court.
