Born OLAOYE MAKINDE attended Kings College, Lagos becoming one of the alumnus of the school in the Nigerian Music industry. It must be made known that Ikechukwu, Audu Maikori of Chocolate City, Cobhams Asuquo and Lynxxx share the same background.
He studied Computer Science at the University of Hull and subsequently Oil and Gas Enterprise Management at the University of Aberdeen where he obtained an MSc. He finished with a distinction!
Olstar is one third of the trio “Umunamu Group” which also comprises 2shotz and the producer Blaze.
Olstar’s debut single “Won Wo Mi Lor” is now out.
