Just only few days ago, news of Nigerian music star, Gabriel Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G involved in a hit and run case went viral and everyone was talking about it, pointing accusing fingers at the Akpako crooner for abandoning the country after deed was done.
Surprisingly, he denied all accusations, saying that specific details in the story was reported wrongly and he didn’t knock anyone (Moshhod Azeez) down when he left Club Royale last Friday as was earlier claimed.
In a statement released, he voiced out his the truth according to him. ‘When it was time for me to leave I was escorted by two bouncers of the club to my car. Yes some guys tried to mob me while I was leaving which is normal. I got I to my car peacefully and drove out after couple of snaps (photographs) with my fans’, Terry explains. I never received any call from the Police inviting me for a hit and run case and I have no reason to run been Godly or notorious, I am a known face so what sense does it make hitting someone and running? I might act crazy but not heartless, only for me to read these stories on blog sites. I have been in the country facing my job… freedom of information is not freedom of misinformation. I did not hit anyone and I am not and was not wanted by Nigerian police’, he finished off, rather angrily.
