Yesterday we reported the news of the 14-year-old teen that tweeted to the American Airlines introducing herself as Ibrahim, a member of the Al Qaeda terrorist group (If you missed it click here).

In the tweet, Sarah had written that she was planning ‘something really big’ on the 1st of June. Although Sarah claimed it was just a joke the American Airlines took this really serious and a recent report stated that she was arrested yesterday following the ‘threat tweet’ to the airline.

The Dutch girl has been arrested by the police in Rotterdam according to the report from Dutch news service BNO news. She was taken into custody at the station for making a false report. No further report reveals whether Sarah would be facing criminal charges.

This is not the first time the Dutch police have arrested someone for making threats on Twitter. In February a 17-year-old girl was arrested after she tweeted she was going to bomb her school. While in April 2011 a 17-year-old boy was also arrested in Rotterdam after threatening to carry out a mass shooting stating that he was going to outdo a gunman who had shot dead  six people at a shopping mall just hours earlier.
