Words can not explian the excitementi had for shows I saw yesterday, particularly with the young desingers. Its like they know all the right button to tick when it comes to fashion designing.

We start off with New York wonder boy( or Oscar De la renta protege , as i like to call him) Jason Wu.  He showed a lot of verstilae daywear, with above the knee lengeth dresses. I partitiularly enjoyed thoese floral print dresses in black and white. It gives floral a more mature feeling.

There were also splashes of Pink and lime throught out the collection. That concept reminded me a lot of kasw’s Kate moss images(black and white picture with a splash of coulor), which was also where Jason Wu drew his inspriatipon from (the look in the middle below really emphazies my point). His finale gown were something to lust over, with volume skirt gowns, giving a  little peak at your ankel, abosoulty beautiful.

Peter Som Wasnt lacking in excitement also, with his floral colour explotion on a sixtie’s silhouette.

Again, the finale dresses were amazing. He showed floor lenght gowns with a thigh high slits, but presented in an elegant way as opposed to the senual feeling slits normally give.

Its often said that only mostly italian designers do slit very well (E.g versace), but that clearly, that not the case here.

Can i just add, this is the sixth collection in two days we are seeing floral prints. Its too early to say its a trend but

Whenever you think of celebrity clothing lines, you see an easy way for superstars to make money, or to brach out from their initial profession, but with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen for The Row that is clearly not the case. They seem to have stepped their game up, again back from their raving fall collection, which was rich in colour and texture.

The Palette was mostly white, with light hues of beige and pink.

This collection gave a lounge vibe, something very comfortable and lush, but still making an effort to be smart.
