The FABulous shoe line Kurt Geiger is to release a new accessories line. The jewellery line is part of a project called ‘Everything But The Dress’ under which the brand will expand its ranges to all cover all manners of accessories including  jewellery, scarves, gloves and bags.

The line will be made up of around 70 pieces and prices average at a reasonable £80 per piece. There will even be pieces in the range that will be priced at less than £50, not bad for a Kurt Geiger piece. As expected the design of the jewellery will resemble the typically glamorous style of  a Kurt Geiger shoe, glamorous and sexy. The collection is made up of gold tones with splashes of eye-catching colour.

The project has been two years in the making. The idea came from watching girls in Kurt Geiger stores putting outfits together during Vogue’s Fashion Night Out last year, which highlighted to the brand the importance of offering a fuller range of accessories to fashion. The accessories line should attract younger shoppers and will help “little sisters get into the brand. Rebecca Farrar-Hockley, (creative director)

The first batch of the  jewellery will be unveiled at its new standalone store in Grafton Street, London, which will open this month. The jewellery will then be put into other stores by the end of the year.
