We first met Bibi Bourelly earlier this month, when the 20-year-old earned some much-deserved notoriety for writing Rihanna’s ‘Bitch Better Have My Money‘. It turns out she’s got just a bit more talent than songwriting, though.

On Monday, Bibi dropped a new track of her own called ‘Riot’, which shows off some powerful pipes and the texture in her voice.

“I want to give people the truth, because a lot of people aren’t so authentic,” she told FADER, who premiered the song. “It’s how I felt in school, fighting against my parents, fight to be considered a real musician. For me, it’s about fighting to be heard and to be recognized.”
