Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has had an amazing year following the successful completion of his Uncensored tour and with his 36th birthday last weekend, for the world’s most loved champagne, Moet & Chandon, that’s something to celebrate.
Moet & Chandon hosted the venerable funnyman famous for his dry wit and deadpan delivery alongside fans, industry equals and A-list celebrities on Saturday, 13th September 2014 at the newly refurbished, Club Uno.
The one-night extravaganza saw Basketmouth presented with a customized Moet Nectar Rose bottle by Brand Manager, Ann Ogunsulire.
The event is the second in the 2014 Moët Rosé Night series. Club Uno was selected as host venue as it’s the newest hotspot to open in Lagos and features a Moet VIP Lounge. A favourite amongst Lagos’ VIPs, the venue has been a staple on the Ikeja Nightlife scene for many years.
Basketmouth made a name for himself in stand-up comedy in the early 2000s before landing a series of international concerts which included European, Central American and South African tours, respectively.
The comedian has had no trouble keeping small-screen audiences captivated too. His work in Television proves he can also light up the small screen. He has won several accolades including his dominating reign as the Best Comedian of the Year at the annual National Comedy Award over four successive years.
