Dorothy Adjoa Amuah has hit back at the rumours that she and two other Mandela granddaughters are to star in a brand new reality TV series and at criticism that exploited the name of the widely-respected former South African president.
Ms Amuah confirmed producers pitched the idea to herself alongside Zaziwe Dlamini-Manaway and Swati Dlamini, all businesswomen in their late 20s or early 30s, but explained that they were still considering whether to go ahead with the project.
“This is by no means a Kardashian show,” Amuah said, referring to the Kardashian family made famous by their US reality show. “This is supposed to be about the dynamics of Africa and how it’s changing.”
