Name: Mazuba Kapambwe

FAB thing about your name:  The Fab thing about my name is the meaning. It’s Tonga, which is my mum’s tribe and language spoken in the Southern province of my country Zambia. ‘Zuba’ means ‘sunshine’ not just in Tonga, but in another language spoken in the East of Zambia called Nyanja. It also means ‘days’ and I guess my mum picked it because I was born after my due date.

Country of origin: Zambia

FAB thing about your country:  Apart from the fact that we are the current African Nations Cup champions, we are home to the Victoria Falls or the ‘Mosi-O-Tunya’  (we actually own 3/4 of it and have the better view), are the biggest copper producer in Africa, won the very first Big Brother Africa competition and co-exist despite having 72 different languages. We are also the first African nation with a white vice president, so we are rising above using race as a way to determine success.

Country of residence: United States

Occupation: Soon to be graduated college student, blogger at afrosocialiting, Social Media/PR intern at Heritage1960.com,  Afro- Entertainment correspondent for Radio Afro Australia and freelance writer.

Describe yourself in 3 words: Afro Creative, Motivated and Dreamer.

What makes you Fabulous African Black: My love for my continent and my mission to inspire Afro-Creatives.
