Photographer Blake Little covers models in thick honey and the result is a beautiful incredible effect. They try to stay still in their poses whilst letting the honey work it’s magic on their bodies turning them into living, breathing human sculptures.
In this series he called “Preservation”, Blake shows how something sweet and nutritious as honey is equally a substance which births life, love and peace even in the midst of turmoil.
Noticing how honey as a prop worked elegantly on the body of his first model, Blake decided to expand the dimensions of his experiment by photographing honey-covered people of different body forms, ages and sizes.
He also communicates how we as humans strive to co-exist in a world where co-dependence yields strength, safety , comfort and unity.
What we see here is simply one of the most powerful, breathtaking art expressions show casing the human body in the purest form of beauty we’eve ever seen.
