The ever-so hot  Gigi Hadid,  posed for a killer shoot to accompany her profile in the April issue of Fashion magazine Adweek.

Refusing to be distracted by the fabulous photos of the model, we dug into the inside stories .

The image from the shoot in no less than 24hrs has gotten  more than 185,000 likes and 1,400 comments from her 2.5 million followers on her Instagram page. Hadid’s total social following, including Twitter, has grown to more than 2.8 million over time . And by the beginning of 2015 she had over 1.5 million followers on Instagram alone.  Social media influence and not to mention  looks and personality has somewhat  helped move  Hadid, seemingly overnight, from up-and-coming model to world famous  fashion celebrity. And brands have taken notice. Over the past year, Hadid has scored big contracts with the likes of Tom Ford, Victoria’s Secret Pink and Maybelline

Hadid graduated from high school two years ago then got a degree in Criminal Psychology at The New School. She had made her New York Fashion Week debut at the end of her freshman year and was the newest face of Tom Ford. By September, she was  on runway shows for Marc Jacobs, Jean Paul Gaultier and Chanel.

She has continued to promote herself via social media all through her rising career, with posts of captivating selfies, behind-the-scenes shots from modeling projects and inside looks at her life as a teenager hanging out with family and friends (including Cody Simpson, her indie-musician boyfriend, and friends like Kendall Jenner). The rising demand for Gigi in the fashion world can not be over-estimated.

Truly she is taking over!
