Contemporary womenswear label, Three Floor have partnered with the UN Women National Committee UK to launch a limited edition capsule collection, which was debuted at London Fashion Week. 20% of all product sales from this capsule collection to will be donated to UN Women.
Yvonne Hoang, founder of Three Floor fashion says: “We are thrilled to be partnering with UN Women National Committee UK, supporting a much – admired entity in their objective to achieve gender parity; together we support and acknowledge women to have economic and social rights as well as access to education and health care. As a womenswear brand where 80% of our staff are female, it is vital that women are of equal status and are fundamental contributors to development.”
Adapting pieces from the main SS17 collection, the ‘Three Floor x UN Women National Committee UK’ capsule collection is inspired by female performers such as Loie Fuller and Isadora Duncan. They were pioneers of the early dance movement by rejecting the rigidity of classical dance and defining a new force in dance – one of progress, change and liberation.
Laura Haynes, Chairwoman of UN Women National Committee UK says: “We are delighted of Three Floor’s ongoing support of UN Women National Committee UK. When we were first shown this capsule collection, we were taken by the strong narrative that runs through it – a story of innovation built on learning from the past but redefining it in a way that creates something new and even more powerful for
the future. At UN Women, we too are about shaping the future, building on what is good to create something even better and working in collaboration with others to make a real difference.”
The collection constituting five looks is now available to pre-order at Threefloorfashion.com, with products due for delivery within a four-six week window.
